Union Academy hires Brad Hoover as Head Football Coach

Earlier today, Union Academy hired Brad Hoover as head football coach.  It was an announcement that caught everyone off-guard in a good way. It was only this morning that most of us learned that Robert Rushing stepped down as head coach on Friday, March 15th. The Union Academy administration worked over the weekend to come up with a replacement and it was the former Carolina Panthers fullback, Brad Hoover, getting the call.  A longtime fan favorite who makes his home in Weddington, Hoover was introduced to the Union Academy players, parents, staff and fans.  The following video is the full length press conference of Hoover’s introduction.
