NFL’s Eugene Robinson discusses the academics of football

Eugene Robinson

Former NFL veteran, Eugene Robinson at Unsigned Senior Showcase.

Eugene Robinson discussed the academics of football with 24 high school seniors during a break yesterday at the first Unsigned Senior Showcase run by Elite Sport Camps and Combines.

Robinson played 16 years in the NFL with his last season ending here with the Carolina Panthers in 2000. Currently, Robinson  serves as a color analyst for the Carolina Panthers Radio Network.

The young men, all hoping to receive an offer to play college football, listened intently to the NFL veteran who espoused hard work, disclipline and the one unmeasurable within in each player.

Check out the video below for the full speech, including that one unmeasurable and the player who received an offer at the conclusion of the event.
