Porter Ridge is coming off a 4-3 shortened spring football season, a season in which the Pirates did not make the postseason playoffs for the first time since 2015. 

The Pirates will be returning to Southern Carolina Conference play after a nine-year absence.  Porter Ridge lost 10-12 seniors to graduation but has some of the best talent in the county on both sides of the ball, including special teams.
