Full game highlights from a game that all supporters of Marvin Ridge High School football will long remember.

The Mavericks were trailing 19-0 at halftime to Charlotte Catholic, a school that has won five state championships since 2016 and has remained unbeaten against Marvin Ridge in six previous games.

However, that would all come to a dramatic end with only seconds remaining on the game clock when the Mavs blocked a game-winning field goal attempt.

Pandemonium ensued; players and coaches rushed the field in crazed celebration and deservedly so.

Marvin Ridge (8-2)  will now move onto the second round of playoff football against their county and conference rival, Weddington High School (10-1). The two schools met two weeks ago, with Weddington winning that one, 23-18.
