Four Union County teams (Piedmont, Marvin Ridge, Cuthbertson, and Porter Ridge) competed in the 3rd Annual Gus Allen Memorial Jamboree held at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC. 

Charlotte Christian, Berry, Catawba Ridge, and host Nation Ford rounded out the teams scrimmaging one week before the official start of the high school football season.

The initial setup was the schools would play two 12-minute quarters. However, a few minutes into the second quarter Piedmont-Charlotte Christian, lightning and heavy rain moved into the area, canceling the game.
