The Weddington Warriors, behind timely scoring and a spirited defense, slowed down a high-powered A.C. Reynolds offense to win 17-10 and advance to the NCHSAA Western Regional Championship.

Weddington (13-1) will play in Greensboro next week against Grimsley High School (14-0).
